Sam Higdon began his theatre journey in his home state of Colorado, making his professional debut at the age of sixteen. He continued his studies at the University of Northern Colorado, where he received his degree in Music/Theatre. His studies included opera repertoire, choral music, acting and dance. Sam's career took a fateful turn when he began working for Marcelo Productions in New York where he met his wife Susan. Sam is a veteran of regional theatre, summer stock, children's theatre, and dinner theatre with more than 50 musicals under his belt. Sam has also directed many shows, including Fiddler on the Roof, Guys and Dolls and The Pajama Game. Some of Sam's favorite roles have been Cosmo in Singing in the Rain, Billy Bigelow in Carousel, Sid Sorokin in The Pajama Game,and Snoopy in You're A Good Man Charlie Brown.
