Loree Russeau, National Director
Loree Russeau is well-known throughout the United States and Canada as an educator, choreographer, dancer and judge. As a graduate of The University of Michigan, she is now the owner of a highly successful Dance Academy and International Performance Company in the Detroit area. Her Students have received over $250,000 in scholarships to art schools and universities. Her choreography has been featured in the NBC Miss America Scholarship Program, with one of her students being crowned Miss America in 1988. Ms Russeau has students dancing professionally throughout the country. Loree has traveled several times to Russia and Europe with the Russia and West Virginia Foundation. Through her travels she has been able to arrange multiple cultural exchanges between artists from the United States and Europe, including performers from the Moscow State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky. She also designed several one week dance camps for colleges and universities which have included faculty from across the world. Loree was on the faculty of Professional Dance Teachers of America and Dance Caravan, where she also served as the director of the Caravan Kid Program. She has written articles for several dance publications and has also produced educational videos and CD’s, including her stretch and strength DVD.
