Dance Theatre USA/Company Dancer Program 2012
"The program is featured in the 2012 Summer Grand Prix Finals" The Company Dancer program is designed for students who have reached a significant milestone in their dance training, and will be featured at our Grand Prix Finals in the summer of 2012. The Company program will give you a true taste of the life of a professional. Studying, performing, and assisting our outstanding faculty, you will be able to experience the dancer's dream. This program is by audition only, once accepted, the following rules, guidelines, and requirements apply. |
Orlando July 5th-8th and Myrtle Beach July 15th-19th
- Dancers must be a minimum age of 14 years (unless special permission is given by the Dance Theatre USA Director, Faculty, and associates).
- After your acceptance to the program, we must receive two letters of recommendation upon making a deposit.
- Dancers will report to selected one or both Grand Prix cities two full days prior to the convention start date, with a chaperone (dance teacher, parent, etc.).
- All attendees are responsible for their own transportation, hotel, chaperone, and meals. Dance Theatre USA is not responsible for any hotel transfers, transportation, or any such arrangements.
- Attendance is required for all rehearsals and master classes prior to the convention start date, as well as during the convention. This includes all Faculty Show rehearsals, as well as those for the Competition Opening number.
- Dancers may compete with their schools in the city you select to participate.
- Dancers must be a minimum age of 14 years (unless special permission is given by the Dance Theatre USA Director, Faculty, and associates).
Company Program in each city will include:
Special Master Classes: two full days prior to the opening of the convention.
Rehearsals: two full days prior to the opening of the convention.
Costumes for the Opening of the competition and Faculty Show.
Company jacket and dance bag.
Fee: if accepted you will receive informational letter including fee.
We will be taking limited enrollment for each city. The deadline for deposit is October 20th, 2011, after which the program will be closed.
